1. Zainab Ejinovo Iyebe
PRINCESS ZAINAB EJINOVO ALIAS IYEBE: daughter of Atta Omadivi, Also a mother of Ibrahim Atta, She was a big time business woman who travelled far and wide.
She also understood and spoke many languages. She is our first heroine by any standard used, first by giving birth to such a colossus as the Atta of Ebiraland and secondly, by being instrumental in the emergence of her son as the first and only Atta of Ebiraland in November 1917 at the young age of 17years. 2. Judith Seffi Atta
Ambassador Judith Sefi Atta is a Princess from Okene, Kogi state.
She was born on the 14th of July, 1933. She started her early Education at First Achimota School, Accra and Aburi Girls School in the Gold Coast (Now Ghana) from 1939-46. She had her secondary school education at st. Theresaâs College, Ibadan from 1947-51.
Between 1951 and 53, Sefi Atta taught, like all brilliant students of the time, at the NA primary school, Okene. She proceeded in 1954 to the University College, Dublin, in the Republic of Ireland, where she studied Geography and History, and obtained the Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Being the very first Ebira Woman to obtain a University degree. She made the 2nd position on our Top 10 Ebira Women

3. Natasha Hadiza Akpoti Iduaghan
Natasha Akpoti was born on the December 9, 1979 to Dr. Jimoh Abdul Akpoti and Ludmila Kravchenk. Her father is a Nigerian while her mum is an Ukrainian.
She hails from Obeiba-Ihima in Kogi State, Nigeria. She is from Ebiraland, where her father was one of the influential figures in the place.
She has three siblings and is the second child of the family.
She spent her early years in Ihima, Okehi Local Government. But she and her family relocated to a different city after the death of her father in 1998.
After graduating from the Nigerian Law School, Natasha Akpoti picked up an appointment with the law firm, Brass NLG. She worked with the firm for three years (2007-2010).
She decided to give back to the society by establishing the firm, Builders Hub Investment Program (BHIP).
In March 2018, she came to national limelight after she presented an investigative report to the National Assembly. The report highlighted the corrupt practices going on at the Ajaokuta Steel Mill and revealed how government funds have been embezzled and misappropriated since the establishment of the mill.
Also in 2018, Natasha was the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for the Kogi Central Senatorial District post. She lost the election to the APC candidate.
In 2019, she contested for the seat of the Kogi State Governor under the platform of the SDP but lost to the elected Governor, Yahaya Bello of the APC. She made the 3rd position on our Top 10 Ebira Women

4. Dr. Salamat Ahuoyiza Aliu
Dr. Salamat Ahuoiza Aliu (b. 1980) is the first indigenously trained female neurosurgeon in Nigeria and also the first female to be certified a neurosurgeon in West Africa. Born in Ilorin, Kwara State, where she had most of her education up to the university level, she found the area of neurosurgery interesting and intriguing, and then decided to specialize in the discipline.
Neurosurgeons are not just brain surgeons, they are medically trained neurosurgical specialists who can also help patients suffering from back and neck pain as well as a host of other illnesses ranging from trigeminal neuralgia to head injury and Parkinsonâs disease.

Ozohu Adoh, an Ebira girl from Kogi state is a former financier who has just launched a line of luxury skincare products in the United Kingdom.

She has just been selected by The Telegraph as one of the 30 women in the UK changing the beauty game.

7. Saratu Atta
Ghanaian president-elect, Nana Akufo-Addo, on Wednesday announced 53-yr old Saratu Atta as his personal assistant. Saratu Atta the daughter of late Adamu Atta, the ex-Governor of Kwara State.

8. Ramatu Shehu Atta
Hajia Ramatu Shehu was born into royalty of the paramount Atta family of Kuroko in Adavi LGA. Her late father, Alhaji Shehu Ibrahim Atta, was a former soldier, public servant and son of the paramount Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Alhaji Ibrahim Onoruoiza Otaru.
She served with Bayo Ojo Chambers in IIorin. She holds a Master degree in Leadership Studies and Master in Philosophy from Nigeria Defence Academy, Kaduna preparatory to pursuing her Doctorate Degree.
Her civil service career started with her appointment with the Federal Ministry of Justice in 1993 before she transferred her service to the FCT Judiciary, Abuja in 1996.
She proceeded to the Gambia as a Magistrate from 1997 to 1999. While in the service of FCT Judiciary, Abuja, she rose through the ranks from Magistrate II to Chief Magistrate I and became an Administrator in the capacity of Secretary, FCT Judicial Service Committee, Abuja and then the Chief Registrar, and she finally retired as the Registrar General of the FCT High Court of Justice.

9. Fatima Bombom Sani
Fatima Bombom Sani made history at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja, after she was named the winner of nine prestigious awards in 2015.
Ebira Female Student Breaks Record At Nigerian Law School Fatima Bombom Sani Daily Trust reports that 26-year-old Fatima broke the existing record in the school by bagging nine separate awards compared to the previous record of seven awards ever received at the Call to Bar of the Nigerian Law School.
The talented young woman was honoured with a standing ovation by the chief justice of Nigeria, Justice Mahmud Mohammed, and other members of the Body of Benchers and the Council of Legal Education, and other dignitaries.
The awards include: the âBest Student of the Year (1st Prize)ââ, ââCouncil of Education Star Awardââ, âCorporate Law Practiceâ, âBest Overall Female Student of the Year Awardâ and âBest Female Student in Criminal Litigation Awardâ.
The rest are âBest Student in Civil and Criminal Litigation Awardâ and the prize for 1st Class Students. Fatima was born to the family of Mr and Mrs Engr Abel. 10. Halimat Abdulkareem Onyiekehi
Halima Abdulkareem Onyekehi was born on 20th November 2012 in Abuja-FCT to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Abudulkareem Onyekehi Suleiman. She hails from Ajaokuta Local Government, Kogi State.
She has delivered speeches on Girl Child rights at several public functions including the Kogi State Independence Day event, TEDx Okene, International Girl Child Day event organized by AIT, NTA programs, Nothern Nigeria Award, Ned Nwoko Zero Malaria Project, and the most recent being the UN Rescue event. UN Rescue Mission and many more. She is also a face to contend with at several debates in and out of her school.
She is home-mentored by her parents on public speaking. Her future ambition is to become a legal practitioner. This is motivated by her respect for human rights especially the Girl Child rights.
