Veteran actress Mercy Johnson Okojie’s epic film, “The Legend of Inikpi,” is now available on Amazon Prime following its successful theatrical run across Nigeria.
The movie narrates the true story of the 16th-century Igala Kingdom, where the life of the celebrated princess Inikpi was crucial to securing victory in an impending war with the Bini Kingdom.

Directed by Frank Rajah Arase, “The Legend of Inikpi” premiered in cinemas in 2020 after an extensive production process in various locations, including Kogi, Edo, and Lagos states, as well as Atlanta, Georgia.
The film features an impressive cast, including Sam Dede, Odunlade Adekola, Saheed Balogun, Paul Obazele, Mercy Johnson Okojie, and Nancy Ameh, who was discovered during a talent hunt project led by the producer in Kogi state.
Mercy Johnson announced the movie’s availability on Amazon Prime via Instagram, expressing her excitement and encouraging viewers to watch and share their feedback.
