Whenever the shadow of war or conflict loomed, eyes turned to Oomi Mountain. It held a magic beyond the mundane, a power to settle even the fiercest disputes. It was as if the mountain’s very essence exuded a force of peace, reminding the people of the unity and strength that had tamed the darkness.
The legacy of Ahomi and Oomi Mountain became a beacon of inspiration for generations to come. Ahomi which originated from Enyinare, was a beacon on hope and so many Ebira people (Ozudu, Aniku Bogiri clan) traced down Ahomi and settled with him at Inoziomi and that is why Inoziomi is dominated by Aniku’s today.
And so, the legend lived on—a testament to the transformative power of courage, the enduring embrace of peace, and the unbreakable bond between a village and its sacred mountain. Oomi Mountain stood not only as a sentinel of Settle but as a testament to the extraordinary heights humanity could reach when guided by the light of hope.
