In a heartfelt gesture to brighten the festive season, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central senatorial district, has undertaken a benevolent initiative by procuring six trucks of rice for distribution to her constituents during the yuletide.
The generous act extends across the five local government areas within the senatorial district, ensuring that households receive this essential staple for their celebrations. Additionally, Senator Natasha plans to distribute 10,000 wrappers, 20,000 notebooks, and 5,000 school bags to further enrich the lives of her constituents.
Highlighting the significance of this outreach, Senator Natasha emphasized the importance of enabling everyone in her district to celebrate the festive season with their families, ensuring that the joy of the holidays reaches every corner of the community.
The distribution of rice is already underway, with the additional items such as wrappers, notebooks, and school bags set to be provided during Senator Natasha’s upcoming visit to her home constituency in the coming days.
During her visit, the senator has plans to commission six new constituency offices strategically located in Ajaokuta (2 offices), Adogo (1 office), Ganaja (1 office), Adavi (1 office), Ogori-Magongo (1 office), Okene (1 office), and Okehi (1 office). Furthermore, she will inaugurate streetlights that illuminate previously dark roads, contributing to enhanced safety and visibility.
