
Following the tragic abduction of passengers in Kogi State, the Ondo State Security Network, commonly known as the Amotekun Corps, has swiftly initiated a rescue operation in the forest of Akunu.
The distressing incident occurred at Ayere community, near the Ondo-Kogi border, where assailants fatally shot the bus driver and kidnapped all passengers, leaving a child behind.
Reports indicate that a collaborative effort comprising Ondo Amotekun personnel, local hunters, and soldiers has been mobilized to secure the safe release of the abducted individuals.
Despite the incident unfolding in Kogi State, Ondo Amotekun Commander Akogun Adeleye Adetunji has confirmed the deployment of his team, underscoring their dedication to assisting neighboring regions in crisis situations.
