The Obidient Movement, Kogi State Coordinating Council, is in deep mourning following the tragic demise of its Director of Logistics and Mobilization, Comrade Victor Christopher Urahojo (aka Senator). The unfortunate incident occurred in a ghastly motor accident on December 26 along the Abuja–Lokoja highway.
In a heart-wrenching condolence message, the State Coordinator, Comrade Sunday Bala Oma, expressed profound sadness and described Victor’s death as both shocking and devastating. Oma conveyed his condolences to the family of the deceased, highlighting the personal and professional bond he shared with Victor.
Despite their graduation from the university in the same year, Oma reminisced about the close working relationship with Victor, emphasizing Victor’s commitment to positive change. Victor, also known as Chris, served diligently as a key member of the movement, dedicated to the common goal of fostering visionary leadership for societal transformation.
“Chris will be greatly missed by all sundry. A colossus has just been lost and will be difficult to replace,” remarked Bala Oma, underlining the significant impact Victor had within the movement and beyond.
Bala Oma urged Nigerians to emulate the positive lifestyle of the deceased and called on leaders to fulfill their responsibilities with integrity. He emphasized the inevitability of returning to the maker one day and stressed the importance of accounting for how time and resources were utilized on earth.
In a final note, Bala Oma extended heartfelt prayers for comfort to Victor’s family and the entire state of Kogi. He sought divine strength for Victor’s immediate family to bear the irreplaceable loss.
