Sharon Sonia, a prominent music star signed to KC Music, has taken legal action against an Ebira-born content creator following a viral video that made false and defamatory claims about her. The content creator, whose identity remains undisclosed, was arrested by the police at his residence in Okene after he posted a video on his Facebook page alleging that Sharon Sonia “didn’t have a womb and can’t produce children again.”
The arrest came after Sharon Sonia’s lawyer filed a petition against the content creator. In a statement, Sharon Sonia expressed her reasons for pursuing legal action: “My lawyer wrote a petition against him, and he was arrested today. He’d have to go submit the evidence in the court of law of how my womb was removed. I wanted to ignore him, but he recorded another video and said a lot of demeaning words.”
Sharon Sonia clarified that the individual responsible for creating the video is not Isah Aha, who only reposted the video. “It’s not Isah Aha; it’s the guy in the video. Isah Aha only reposted it,” she stated.
