The Nigeria-Korea Friendship Institute (NKFI) has extended a generous scholarship offer to three talented boys from Kogi State who demonstrated exceptional skills by constructing Sports Utility Vehicles and helicopters from scratch.
Hailing from the Idah Local Government Area of the state, these remarkable boys caught the attention of the institute when pictures of their impressive creations went viral on social media. Recognizing their ingenuity and potential, the Executive Director of NKFI, Williams Charles Oluwatoyin, warmly welcomed them to his office on Tuesday.
During the meeting, it was announced that the institute’s management had decided to provide full scholarships to the boys, granting them an opportunity to pursue studies in Mechatronics, Welding and Fabrication, and Electrical/Electronic Technology.
One of the young talents revealed that he had been dreaming of attending the prestigious NKFI for the past two years, but due to a lack of financial support, he had set aside that dream. Now, to their delight, the management of the institute is bestowing upon them the honor of a full scholarship to undertake a 2-year National Innovative Diploma program in their chosen fields. The institute is optimistic that these young prodigies will thrive and excel in an enabling environment, ultimately becoming great pioneers in their respective disciplines.
The Nigeria-Korea Friendship Institute takes pride in recognizing and nurturing exceptional talents like these boys, empowering them to pursue their passions and contribute significantly to society. This scholarship is a testament to the institute’s commitment to fostering innovation and excellence among the nation’s youth, creating a brighter future for Nigeria.
