While the new cashless policy on New Naira Notes is on going, it have been brought to notice that some people are already spreading fake notes by depositing them with POS Operators.

A video making round the internet revealed the moment a Nigerian man cried out about getting fake New Naira Notes from POS Operators.

While some blame the POS Operator for negligence, some sympathize with him for the huge loss to his business despite the hardship in the country.

The victim have also taken his time to share with Nigerians on how to identify Fake New Naira Notes especially with N1,000 and N500.

In his statement, he said;

Attention Nigerians.
Nigerians be very vigilant on the New notes especially both N500/N1k note’s. Once they spend it to you just put it inside water to verify.
It will melt if is the fake!
