The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has announced results for candidates who participated on the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) this year 2022.
The acting head, Public Affairs of the examination body, Moyosola Adesina revealed this in a statement on Sunday 7th of August, 2022.
According to Adesina, a total of 6007 WAEC results have been released.
In order to check your WAEC 2022 result, follow the steps below;
How to check your 2022 WAEC Result on phone via SMS
- Type WAECExaminationnumber, PIN, Exam year, in your phone and there should not be a space in between.
- Send it to 32327 (charges applied).
- You will receive a message instantly containing your WAEC statement of result.
Please note that it is only MTN, Glo and Airtel subscribers that can actually check their WAEC results using this SMS method.
Continue repeating the steps if you do not receive your WAEC result via SMS in less than 24hrs.
How to check Your 2022 WAEC Result through Online Portal
Candidates who registered for the May/June examination can also access their results through the portal of WAEC. Click here to check your WAEC result online.
Note: Do not include space while typing the details above and also, SMS charges will be applied when checking your WASSCE result using text messages.
You will also need to have purchase the WAEC Direct Scratch card in order to check your result via text message. The scratch card pin is what is needed in the PIN section of the SMS you will send to 32327.
