Access Bank CEO, Herbert Wigwe, tragically passed away in a helicopter crash in California, US, along with his wife, son, and others, including former Group Chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group Plc, Mr. Abimbola Ogunbanjo. Just weeks before this devastating event, Wigwe had unveiled his remarkable multi-billion Naira mansion in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Described as a state-of-the-art marvel, the mansion situated in the prestigious area of Ikoyi known as Queen’s Drive was adorned with full automation features, marking it as a unique property in the region.
Earlier, Nigerian businessman and former Forte Oil Plc chairman, Femi Otedola, shared his recent visit to the Wigwes’ new home, where he and Aliko Dangote were hosted for dinner. Expressing shock and sorrow at the sudden loss, Otedola fondly recalled his time spent with Wigwe and offered heartfelt condolences to his children.
