Kogi state government has declared Thursday, 23rd and Friday 24th of February 2023 as work- free days in the state.
The state Head of Civil Service, Mrs Hannah Odiyo, announced in a press release in Lokoja on Wednesday.

According to her, the two-day work-free days are to enable workers to source for money to travel to their respective towns for election on Saturday, 25th February, 2023.
“We value the Public/Civil Servants and appreciate their support and cooperation all the while,” she said in the statement.
